“A story that reminds us of the unconditional love dogs bring into our world”
A story about belonging
Murphy the dog was feeling a bit lost and wanted to know where he belonged. After listening to his human dad talk about all the different dogs and families within their community, Murphy discovers that if you can love and belong to yourself first, you can belong anywhere. This story reminds us about the unconditional love that dogs bring into this world and the happiness they bring to families and communities.
Where Do I Belong?
In life, we all know where we come from, and if not, many of us make it our business to find out, but we often forget to embrace where we belong. This story for children illustrates that belonging starts from within, and that it is through self-love and self-acceptance we can truly find where we fit in.
Our story touches topics such as race, gender and identity, and the understanding that belonging is a fundamental human need.
Through animals, particularly dogs, we learn about unconditional love and our connection to family and community.
We all come from many places, many stories and many generations, with all our differences. If we can love ourselves first, we can belong anywhere and celebrate together in honesty, harmony, trust, compassion and kindness.
